As Dade Heritage Trust marks its 50th Anniversary, the organization recognizes CCOSD passion for preservation, commitment to smart and thoughtful development, and desire for a strong community involvement.
Over the past few years, neighbors united to push back against un-compatible development. Along the way we managed to save one of the oldest structures in the South Dade neighbor (Caves Residence ). Together we can continue to make a difference.
A Public Hearing has been scheduled before the Board of County Commissioners to rezone approximately 14.07 gross acres to allow the construction of 9 apartment buildings up to five stories in height consisting of 760 affordable housing dwelling units / apartments as follows:

Project Summary: 9 apartment buildings up to five stories in height consisting of 877,729 sq. ft. of building area, with 760 apartment units, and less than 1% 7,510 sq. ft. of retail.
